Autumn Goodness Thankful Card – Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop | Stampin’ Up!

It is that time of year that we give thanks and it is fitting as the theme for this month’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop, led by Amy Koenders, is Giving Thanks. My card features the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Goodness stamp set.

PROJECT RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • Stamp Set(s): Autumn Goodness
  • Dies: Stitched Circles
  • Cardstock: Old Olive,Cajun Craze,Whisper White
  • Designer Series Paper (DSP): Gilded Autumn
  • Ink: Cajun Craze
  • Embellishments & Accessories: Basic Pearls

TOOLS

  • Base Supply Kit: paper trimmer, paper snips/scissors, bone folder
  • Adhesives of your choice such as Stampin’ Seal, Stampin Seal+, multipurpose liquid glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals)
  • Die Cutting Machine: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine or the like

TECHNIQUES

  • Paper Trimming/Cutting
  • Scoring Paper
  • Stamping
  • Die Cutting
  • Paper Punching
  • Fussy Cutting

MEASUREMENTS

  • Card Base: Old Olive 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”
  • Card Front:  Cajun Craze 4” x 5 3/8”
  • Inside Panel:  Whisper White Panel size 4” x 5 3/8”
  • Designer Series Paper Panel:  4 x 5 3/8” cut in half on diagonal 
  • Scrap:Designer Series Paper: 1 ½” x 4”
  • Shimmery White:  2 ½” circle
  • Cajun Craze 3” circle

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY

Die Cutting

Using your die cutting machine cut your 2 circles 

Stamping & Paper Punching

  • Stamp the pumpkin from the Autumn Goodness stamp set on the 2 1/2” circle in Cajun Craze cardstock
  • Stamp your sentiment in Cajun Craze on scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER

  1. Adhere the first panel Cajun Craze to card front  
  2. Adhere the diagonal piece to the cajun craze 
  3. Adhere your 1 ½” piece of DSP
  4. Adhere your Cajun Craze Circle 
  5. Adhere your stamped circle 
  6. Adhere your sentiment 
  7. Adhere your inside panel
  8. Pop on some pearls
